Proposal - Audience

We decided that our core audience would be 16-24 year old male and female sci-fi fans, as our film is of the sci-fi genre.

As shown by the table above, the largest percentage of cinema goers in the UK are 15-24 year olds.

Our secondary audience would be women who enjoy sci-fi or other films with aspirational or heroic women. This is a more niche market, s few action and sci-fi films have female protagonists.

Generally our target audience watch any action or sci-fi films featuring stereotypical male heroes (such as Die Hard), or films that break this stereotype, such as Alien or Pacific Rim.

The film, whilst it is predominantly appealing to UK audiences due to the setting being London, could also appeal to international audiences, as it deals with universal themes, and British culture may be of interest.
