Our film is of the sci-fi and action genres as it includes typical elements of
both of those genres such as chase scenes, futuristic characters and time
travel.
Action is the most popular genre of films amongst UK cinema-goers. It
appeals to a broad audience of both genders and different ages.
Sci-fi is another popular genre amongst UK audiences and
creates opportunities to break gender stereotypes realistically, like having a
female protagonist instead of a male (like we have done with Leora).
We believe our initial
idea is strong and we feel well suited to making this film as we understand the
conventions of both genres well, such as connoting sci-fi with time travel, and action with chase scenes.
